We are the Chongs from Jamaica. I was introduced or re-introduced to homeschooling through a Medical Missionary class i was doing recently. My husband and i decided to start with our 2 girls aged 13 yrs and 8 yrs. We have now started a few weeks but i am struggling. I have downloaded the Sonlight education ministries curriculum though and i am going forward with it by God's grace. My teenager is not happy with the decision and is pushing back a bit. She misses her friends. Though she still has social media access to them. She misses that she won't be in class with them anymore. There is a Homeschooling association here (Jamaica Homeschoolers association) but they are not Adventist. That is why i am reaching out to your association. We offer ourselves and welcome all or any advice to help.
