Over 200 individuals made up of families from the North, the South, the West and the East of England gathered at the SDA Home Education Association Annual Convention 2019 held this year at Stanborough Secondary School, Watford on 26-27 October 2019.
Initially planned to be held at Stevenage Church, it soon became clear due to the number of registrations being received that the venue would not be able to hold the numbers. After a frantic search, God opened up the Stanborough School which proved to be a fitting venue for the 2 day True Education event.
Attendees were blessed by the stirring messages from Joshua White of A Thinking Generation which included topics such as:
Educating The Final Generation - Lessons on educational reform from the story of Daniel
End Time Mind Control - Independent thinking under attack
Better Late Than Early - Doing the right job at the wrong time
True Education for The End Times - Principles of true education made simple
Plus a Live Q&A Session
In addition there were sessions on Medical Missionary work by Winston & Jacqueline Brown of Medical Missionary Group, Country Living and Living Off The Land by Robert & Michelle Sullivan of The Artisan Grower and Self Employment, Business & Work From Home Opportunities for Home Educators by Joseph Cudjoe.
Many left the event deeply impressed of the need for educational reform, a greater understanding of the connection between education and salvation and a desire to make the necessary changes in their families in order to come in line with God's plan for the education of his remnant people.
There were musical items throughout the day from musically gifted children as well as activities and items for children.
