Nutrition

(Law No. 8 of the 8 Laws of Health)

Nutrition is important for everyone! God gave us His original plan in the beginning, which was fruits, nuts, grains and seeds. But after sin, He added vegetables. We get a lot of vitamins and minerals from eating a balanced diet, these include Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, phosphorus and more!

Include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet, but don't combine them. When you have them at the same time, fruits digest first, so as the fruits are digesting the vegetables start to rot and that causes problems such as bloating and lower bowel gas.

It's not just important what we eat, but when and how we eat. For children try and leave 3-4 hrs between meals and for adults 4-5 hours is best, because your stomach takes 5hrs to digest your food, when you eat all the time, your stomach doesn't have enough time to rest and that slows down your metabolism and weakens your immune system.

Your stomach also uses an acid called hydrochloric acid to digest your food, so don't eat and drink at the same tim, otherwise you will dilute that acid which in turn causes problems like acid reflux and gastritis. It's best to drink water 30 minutes before a meal and 1 hour after, but if you're not used to it, you can start with 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after.

It is vital that you take supplements like vitamin D3, especially during the winter months. B12 (methyl cobalamin),  iron (in the form of blackstrap molasses) and zinc.

Most importantly, taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.
